At Love of Hair Artistry, we strive to make your experience exceptional and comfortable. We understand that your health, as well as the safety of the salon, is of the utmost importance!

Please cancel in 48 hours by using the link in your confirmation or reminder emails ONLY. Please know your appointment is uninterruptedly yours, and without proper notice, we cannot fill the time slot we reserved for you.  

If you must cancel within the 48-hour window of your appointment, a $75 cancellation fee will be charged via the card on file or before booking your next appointment.

I understand that my credit card is required to book an appointment. The card is kept in a secure online system and only charged by the salon’s cancellation policy.

If you are late to your appointment, please notify us via text at (510) 560-4247.

If you are 15 - 30 minutes late to your appointment, a $50 late fee will be applied to your session. If you are more than 30 minutes late, a $100 no-show fee will be applied, and the session will be canceled.

If your Loctician runs behind by 15 - 30 minutes - WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU, a $50 discount will be applied to your session.

If you fail to cancel and do not attend your scheduled session,  you will be subjected to a $100 no-show fee before booking your next session. Or, you may no longer be welcome as a guest of Love of Hair Artistry.

At times during our sessions, photos and videos will be taken during the session. We will use these images on our website, promotional items, and social media platforms. A copy can be sent to you after editing as well.

We strive to offer our guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your Locs, please let us know within 7 days of your visit, and we will be happy to accommodate you at no additional charge. This does not include other products or services to change or add to the look.

(For instance, this would be a charge if you want a curl set after receiving a twist set. Or if you Removed newly created Locs due to wanting a different Loc Method.) Session payments are not refundable.

* Love of Hair Artistry is an intimate small salon.  Your appointment time may overlap with another guest, and rest assured the level of safety will continue.


* All guests of Love of Hair Artistry and the Locticians will be required to wear a face mask that covers their mouth and nose for the duration of their experience.  If you do not have one, one will be provided to you.


* We will sanitize all the high-touch points before each appointment throughout the day (i.e., door handles, bathroom, styling chairs, credit card machine, retail products, etc.) As well as provide cleansed and sanitized tools (including aprons, clips, combs, loc tools, hooks, etc.) for each guest.

Discriminatory/Derogatory statements and actions are prohibited in the salon and will not be tolerated. We have the right to refuse service to anyone being Disruptive, Intoxicated, Discriminatory, Derogatory, or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.
